At my mimi, we’re committed to creating high-quality, body-safe, and reusable menstrual discs that are designed to last when cared for properly. Our refund and warranty policy is built on hygiene standards, fairness, and compliance with Australian Consumer Law.

1. Change-of-Mind Returns

Due to the intimate nature of menstrual discs, strict hygiene rules apply. Change-of-mind returns are only accepted if the product:

  • Is unused and in a resellable condition.
  • Is in its original packaging, with the inner plastic sleeve completely sealed.

If the inner seal has been opened or tampered with, we are unable to process a return. We also reserve the right to decline returns that do not meet these hygiene and safety standards.

2. Return Handling Fees

For change-of-mind returns, the following costs are deducted from any refund:

  • Original shipping fees.
  • A 20% administration/restocking fee.
  • Merchant payment processing fees (5% to 10%, depending on the payment method used).

3. Items Not Eligible for Refund

The following accessories and add-on products are non-refundable:

  • GO menstrual disc steriliser.
  • Menstrual disc carry bag.
  • Menstrual disc cleaning tablets.
  • Gentle foaming cleanser.
  • Water-based personal lubricant.

4. Warranty - 12 Months of Protection

All my mimi menstrual discs come with a 12-month warranty starting from the date of purchase. This warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing defects.
  • Material faults (e.g., cracks, tears, or structural issues).
  • Seal or rim failures caused by a manufacturing flaw.

Warranty claims must include:

  • Proof of purchase.
  • Clear photos showing the fault.
  • Confirmation that the issue is due to a defect and not caused by misuse, damage, or wear.

5. Menstrual Disc Returns

As menstrual discs are internal medical-grade silicone products, they cannot be resold once opened. Therefore, we cannot process returns or refunds for:

  • Used or trialled products.
  • Personal discomfort, incorrect size selection or incorrect usage (e.g., improper folding or insertion).
  • Fit-related concerns (e.g., slipping or leaking), unless caused by a confirmed manufacturing defect.

If you experience difficulties, our team can provide personalised fit advice and troubleshooting to improve comfort and performance.

6. Exclusions

Our 12-month warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear (e.g., gradual softening or discolouration).
  • Damage from improper cleaning or sterilisation.
  • Use of harsh chemicals, bleach, or abrasive cleaners.
  • Damage caused by incorrect insertion, handling, or storage.
  • Any faulty product claims made beyond the reporting period specified in this policy.

7. Submitting a Warranty or Return Claim

To request a warranty review or refund:

  2. Include your order number, product details, and photos of the issue.
  3. Our team will review the claim and may request the product be returned for inspection.

If your claim is approved, we will:

  • Send a replacement disc, or
  • Issue store credit or a refund (at our discretion).
