my mimi is honoured to be working with Share The Dignity in 2025. The team at my mimi chose this charity as our 2025 initiative based on their vital work in our communities.
Their mission
"Ensuring that everyone is afforded the dignity in life that so many of us take for granted"
Share the Dignity works to make a real, on-the-ground difference to the lives of women, girls and those who menstruate who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness, domestic violence or poverty.
They distribute period products to those in
need and work to achieve menstrual equity here in Australia. When someone is doing it tough, the last thing on their mind should be dealing with their period.
Share The Dignity are proud to partner with over 3,000 charities nationally, helping them to assist the women, girls and those who menstruate who desperately need access to period products.
This is achieved through Dignity Drives and Dignity Vending Machines. They also collect and distribute bags filled with essential items to the people we support at Christmas time through their annual It’s in the Bag campaign.
